Socialising planning π πππΊπ½π»πΉ (original post Aug 18th, 2017, 12.55AM)
As adulthood creeps on for us, the responsibilities and demands of life become more time consuming to deal with and so socialising may not be as easy as when we were shacked up at the folks still!
But to be honest we need to MAKE time! I mean, come on...when we actually look back through parts of the day and analyse exactly what we did, can we really hand on heart say we have no time?! #wastedtime
What I've noticed with nights out lately though are destination challenges! For those of us in the 'mid-range' age bracket, it doesn't seem as easy to just decide on a place and go!
I found myself earlier checking out some reviews of bars. Where would we slot into to be able to have a great laugh and bit of a boogie π without looking like someone's grandparent in among the teens or else feeling like we have walked into a nursing home π‘?! π€·♀️
I seen that many places that at the end of the day what I realised for now was that the main thing is about friends getting together and being able to have fun and make friendships and relationships stronger! Not gonna lie...late night bar with dance floor was a 'must have' search!!
Think we may have decided at least on a vicinity...#Harcourt St/#Camden St area. Another 'mid range' age thing to do is going for food a nd not only straight out to bars and then clubs! Going to a place with everything such as food and then club in the same place would make sense, but the sense of adventure in me would rather good in one and then see what takes our fancy! π
So, to keep the peace....plan, have options and try different things and places. That could be part of the excitement in planning!!! Maybe it's the lil travel bug in me...who knows where we will end up but we will have fun finding out and exploring!!! ☺️
