 Yes, sometimes this is what it can feel like to get thru some things socially...making our way through an assault course!!! 😑

There are so many things but I'll touch on a couple that many of us may relate to.

The question of where u fit in with friends? Do u think u are close with people and then see them around others and feel invisible? Not a nice feeling and the thought comes about as to how important u really are to them in the first place 😕 For me, I'm not a 'rent a friend' person. I'm lucky to say I can still call a couple of childhood friends my best friends now after over 2 decades. There are people who have been around for most of my working life too but meeting new friends who make me happy to hang out with and keep in touch with is great! The only thing is with the 'newness' comes the question of how important we are to these? It's sad to think we are putting in efforts that aren't being reciprocated and going unnoticed 😞

Dating...well, that can be a whole subject on its own but for now, my thoughts are...what is acceptable for boundaries? Like for example...a friend said to me recently that age is only a number but really? And then there was a scene I witnessed of 'eyes across a room' but then the guy taking off his wedding ring while his 'target' wasn't looking!!! 🙄 And then the whole 'flirting' thing...what's good, what's bad, how can it be noticed if someone is dropping a flirt on ya?! 🤣🙊🙈 It can be all harmless fun but only if my previous 2 points I've just mentioned weren't an issue!!! #socialpuzzles 😣

Finally for now...travel buddies. Can there still be the feel of a boys trip with a chick there even if she's just friends with all the guys and nothing's ever gone on? Why can't it be??? I believe it shouldn't be a problem at all!!! Unless the chicks are 'typical' ones and live up to the stereotype of shopping and make up sessions and stuff! 💅💄When is it a good time to go on a friends trip for the first time with someone? Is anytime too soon? I don't think so if people get on! Why not? If things don't work out abroad, then it just turns into a solo trip! And we know I have no probs with that! ☺️

So, all in a days work, we can have all of these things thrown at us. Some would say 'first world problems' and I know that but still...when we are faced with them, they seem steep hills to get over!!! 😣 But keep on climbing!!! 🙌✊️
