Cues can help so much! They are ways to help us remember how to do things​, sometimes helping us to perform tasks more effectively. We can take cues from so many people too depending on what the situation is. Starting from childhood, we would have had cues from parents or relatives or guardians to remember how to do things we learned for the first time so that we wouldn’t forget next time! Time can be so precious these days and without some kind of planning, the days can be done before we know it so we can use cues here. Sometimes when performing a task or workout for example, we may have been guilty of ‘going through the motions’- doing something but not really that effectively. Take a workout for example-coaches can give cues to be able to help visualize the exercise in order to perform it most effectively and getting better results as opposed to doing things wrong just for the sake of it but not getting desired results.
