Body beautiful (original post Aug 15th, 2017, 12.15AM)

So many times we hear this phrase 'body beautiful'. But what is that? To each their own. Everyone has their own vision of what their 'beautiful' body looks like.

I've mine of course...probably many I wish I had...from Victoria's Secret angels to Crossfit athletes! But that's the thing, it's what we all do to try and obtain a certain 'look'. Unfortunately people, it's not just gonna plant itself in our laps without us having to work at it!

A lot of people focus on the 'look' though and that's a big problem. People want to get skinny and go about things the wrong way like starving themselves. One thing I'm loving more is the whole 'strong not skinny' vibe. Maybe one reason being I don't think my 'child bearing hips' figure wants me to ever be 'skinny'.

But also, this leads to another side of this and may I say the more important side...about how we feel getting to the way we want to look. Healthy eating and exercise we know are ways to get there. I am hoping to get help with the eating part so that's for another day but as for exercise...it's gotta be done! I know it's a pain in the ass (sometimes literally!) to get motivated and work out 6 or 7 days a week, but the feeling after a good workout is worth it! To not be able to walk is a goal in itself sometimes!

If exercise gives us that feeling of happiness and accomplishment, then that's one thing that's working for the 'look'. Happiness causes smiles and smiles are sometimes infectious so being happy creates happiness around us and so makes us feel good and in turn projects positive vibes which radiate from us from within πŸ™Œ

So, get to that fitness class, get on that bike, go for a jog or simply start by putting one foot in front of the other to have a little walk. Don't think-just do. The rewards will be so much better than any excuse we can come up with to not try!
